Brittas Bay

About the Beach:
Brittas Bay is a long sandy sheltered beach. The area is designated as a proposed Special Area of Conservation (SAC). It is an area of ecological
importance and habitats of interest include sand dunes, fens and grassland areas. The landscape is dominated by the dunes which cover approx 100 hectares. The beach is lifeguarded throughout the bathing season.

This fine pebble beach is located directly south of Greystones town. Accessible by public transport, the DART to and from Dublin City Centre. Greystones is lifeguarded during the bathing season.
